What the rate includes. Every rate above is all in. It is the employee’s salary and statutory benefits, passed through at cost and itemized on your invoice, plus our flat $395 management fee. The fee covers legal employment and an HR team on the ground, recruitment, an i5 computer with dual monitors and headset, 24/7 IT support and a secure managed network, security certifications and insurance, training and quality, client success management and the Knit workforce platform. There are no setup, recruitment, workstation, exit or team transfer fees. Where the work suits it, output-based pricing is also available, built on the same transparent framework with the unit price calculation shown.
That is typically 50 to 70 percent below the fully loaded cost of the same role in the US.

Frequently asked questions
-
How much does content marketing outsourcing cost?
Sourcefit’s content marketing rates are $1,250 a month for entry level, $2,000 for mid level and $2,700 for senior writers and content marketers, per full-time employee working from home. Office-based staff add $100 a month. Each rate is all in: salary and benefits at cost plus the $395 management fee. There are no setup, recruitment or exit fees. Where the work suits it, output-based pricing is also available, built on the same transparent framework: we show how the unit price is calculated, so you know exactly what you are paying for.
-
Is the management fee added on top of these rates?
No. The fee is already inside every rate on this page and on every quote. A $1,250 rate is about $855 of salary and benefits at cost plus the $395 fee. You will never see the fee added to a rate you were quoted.
-
What is included in the monthly rate?
Legal employment and compliance with an HR team on the ground, recruitment, an i5 computer with dual monitors and headset, a 24/7 IT help desk, a secure managed network, our security certifications and insurance, training and quality, client success management and the Knit workforce platform. For office-based staff it also covers the seat, office network and utilities.
-
How quickly can Sourcefit build a content marketing team?
Most content marketing roles are recruited, interviewed and onboarded in two to four weeks. Technical or specialist writers can take longer. You interview and choose the writers and content marketers.
-
Who manages the team day to day?
That is your choice. Most clients manage the team directly: the writers and content marketers report to your managers and work inside your processes and tools, with Sourcefit handling employment, HR, equipment, IT and quality support behind them. If you would rather not manage day to day, our Sightline model builds an autonomous team with its own Sourcefit team lead and quality layer that delivers against agreed SLAs, while still reporting directly to you and working to your KPIs, not ours. Sightline is quoted separately.
-
Can the team work inside our existing systems?
Yes. Writers and content marketers work in your CMS, project management and SEO tools, such as WordPress, HubSpot, Asana, Google Docs, Semrush or Ahrefs, under your access rules. You keep ownership of every account, and access is revoked the day someone leaves.
-
Is content marketing outsourcing secure?
Sourcefit holds ISO 27001:2022 and ISO 27701 certification directly, is PCI DSS validated, has a SOC 2 report, signs HIPAA business associate agreements where needed and operates GDPR-aligned data handling. Home-based staff work on company-managed computers over a VPN with traffic routed through Cloudflare.
-
What happens if we want to bring the team in house?
The team is yours. If you decide to move them to your own entity or take them with you, they go with you. There is no transfer fee, buyout or conversion charge.
-
Dedicated writer, agency or freelancer: which should I choose?
A dedicated writer works only for you, learns your products and voice, and gets better every month; you direct the work. An agency gives you a strategist and shared writers on a retainer, which suits a one-off campaign more than a steady publishing calendar. Freelancers are cheap per piece but availability and consistency are the problem. If you publish every week, a dedicated writer at a flat monthly rate is usually the lowest cost per good article.
-
Can offshore writers produce native-level English?
Yes, if they are screened for it. Bad experiences with offshore content almost always come from $5-an-article marketplaces, not from vetted full-time hires. We screen writers with writing samples and a grammar and style test, you review their portfolio and a paid test piece before you choose, and your editor approves everything before it is published.
-
What content can be outsourced, and what should stay in house?
Blog posts, SEO articles, landing pages, social copy, email content, scripts, whitepapers and case studies all outsource well, and so do the senior roles around them: content strategists who own the editorial calendar, editors who hold the quality line, and content leads who manage a team of writers. Your positioning and your point of view stay yours, and the final call on strategy sits with whoever owns marketing on your side. The best results come when someone on your side gives feedback in the first few months; after that, a senior offshore editor can run the day-to-day.
-
Do your writers use AI, and how do I know I am not paying for AI content?
You set the AI policy. Most writers use AI for research, outlines and optimization and write and edit the final piece themselves; some clients prohibit it entirely, and that is fine. Every piece is original to you, checked for plagiarism, and never reused for another client. Google treats scaled AI content with no human value as spam, so a writer who can edit AI output well is now worth more than one who cannot, and that is what we screen for.
-
How is AI changing the content marketer role?
The job is moving from drafting to strategy, editing, SEO and AI-search optimization, and quality control of AI output. The writer you hire today should be able to brief, structure content so search engines and AI assistants can cite it, and keep facts and voice right. We recruit for those skills and our own training and quality team supports upskilling as part of the standard fee.
-
Who owns the content and IP?
You do. Everything produced for you is your property, covered by the employment and confidentiality terms in place, and it is never reused or resold. The writer is your employee in all but the legal paperwork, so the question of IP assignment is settled in the contract from day one.
-
How do I measure whether outsourced content is working?
Two layers. Output and quality: pieces published on time, revision rounds, a scoring rubric against your style guide. Outcomes: organic traffic, rankings, AI-search citations, engagement, leads. SEO results take months of consistent publishing, so judge the writer on the first layer early and the second layer from month four onward.
-
Can I start with one writer and scale up later?
Yes. One dedicated writer is a normal starting point, and you can grow to a team with a strategist, designer and editor as volume rises. The rate card is per person, so scaling is simply adding people.
